Beach Clubs of Puglia | Puglia at a Glance

You’ll find a concentration of some of the Valle d’Itria’s very best beach clubs of Puglia along a small stretch of the Adriatic coast between Torre Canne to Ostuni.

The White Beach clubs

The White Beach has two beach clubs in this area. The first is an elegant beach club just outside Torre Canne, featuring a decking-covered bar and restaurant area. There’s a lovely summer feel, making easy to let time drift away here. Once the sun starts to go down it transforms into an outdoor nightclub with a tasty cocktail menu and DJs spinning into the night.

The better beach in the White Beach series is White Beach Ostuni. Located near Monticelli, there’s a more rustic feel here. It’s positioned in a horseshoe bay, so the beach offers great swimming, especially for children.

Local, heavily bronzed Italians appear to all but live on beaches during the summer months. It’s amazing how easy they make it look for a family to bring the entire contents of their house plus a 5 course picnic meal for a half-day at the beach without breaking a sweat.

If this all seems too much, all the beach clubs mentioned here provide refreshments and food. They also offer sun loungers and umbrellas as well as having shower and toilet facilities.

Beach Clubs in Pilone

Near Monticelli, in Pilone are the two ‘best of the rest’ beach clubs. It’s worth mentioning that Pilone II has a large, easily accessible beach club offering standard facilities. Food and drink here is good value, meaning a daily visit won’t bankrupt you!

Bosco Verde

Bosco Verde is a crisp and luxurious beach club. A contemporary, glass-fronted building gives a luminous and fresh appearance, and modern seating areas indoors and outdoors make it a great location rain or shine. It’s a refreshing change from many local beach clubs which are typically rustic (with a pallet wood feel). White linen tablecloths on every table make this beach club feel rather sumptuous, and the food itself (fresh local fish and seafood of course) is really fresh and tasty. Definitely well worth a visit just for lunch whether you’re a beachgoer or not.

Lastly, the boutique LullaBay is high up on the list for sundowners, and late afternoon and evening chilling. Both kooky and sweet, this bohemian, eclectic beach club is the perfect location for an aperol spritz as the sun goes down, whilst you enjoy some easy, summer tunes amongst the twinkly lights.
